Level 2 Award for Personal Licence holders
Course Aims
The aim of this course is to allow the candidate to sell Alcohol to
the public by achieving a Personal Licence.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
· Understand the roles, responsibilities and functions
of licensing authorities.
· State the role and legal responsibilities of the personal licence
holder.
· State the penalties of the license holder for failing to comply with
the law.
· Understand the purpose of operating schedules.
· Explain the duties of the designated premises Supervisor.
· Discuss unauthorised and temporary licensable activities.
· State the rights of entry to licensed premises.
· Understand Police powers in regards to the closure of licensed premises.
· Explain the specific Prohibitions for the sale of alcohol.
· Describe the strengths of alcohol drinks and its effect on the human
body.
· State the responsible retail sale for alcohol.
· Demonstrate how to complete an incident report.
· Examine and discuss scene prevention.
Course Duration : 6 Hours
Certification
BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Licence Holders.
HABC Level 2 National Certificate for Licence Holders.
